RJ Schreck were all named to the 2020-21 College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District III First Team.

To be eligible for consideration, student-athletes must be a starter or key reserve, achieve sophomore standing at their current school, maintain a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.3 and be nominated by his sports information director.

Duke, which has had nine CoSIDA Academic All-District nods throughout the last four seasons, joined Miami as the only ACC programs with a first team selection this year.

Dockman collects his third CoSIDA Academic All-District honor, also being named to the first team in 2019 and 2020. In 78 career appearances and 107 innings pitched, the Hilliard, Ohio, native boasts a 7-3 record with a 3.62 ERA and 105 strikeouts. In 2021, Dockman put in 30 innings of work in 21 appearances with a 4.80 ERA and a 1-1 record. He held opposing hitters to a career-low .235 batting average. He graduated in May 2021 with degrees in Economics and Mathematics.

A Second Team All-ACC nod as a senior, Loperfido concluded a stellar career at Duke, playing in the infield his first two seasons before transitioning to the outfield. While as a Blue Devil, the Haddonfield, N.J., native slashed .317/.419/.488 throughout his career, with his on-base percentage ranking tied for 10th all-time in program lore. In addition, Loperfido's career batting average, runs scored (142), home runs (18), stolen bases (41) and hit by pitches (31) mark all rank in the top 20 in Duke history. In 2021, Loperfido ranked second in the ACC with a batting average of .374. He was named the ACC Baseball Championship Tournament MVP after helping Duke win its first conference tournament title in program history. He graduated in May 2021 with a degree in Sociology.

Schreck enjoyed a breakout year as a junior in 2021, earning Third Team All-ACC honors. After compiling just 15 hits in his first two years, the Los Angeles, Calif., native batted .337 with 70 hits and a team-leading 18 home runs in 2021. He also led the team in RBIs (52), slugging percentage (.635) and multi-RBI games (14). His 18 long balls as a junior ranked fifth in the conference and fourth all-time by a Blue Devil in a single season. Schreck was named to the NCAA Knoxville Regional All-Tournament Team after hitting three home runs in a single game against Wright State. He is currently pursuing a degree in computer science and is set to graduate in May 2022.

By virtue of their placement on the all-district team, all three will advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America Team ballot, with first- and second-team Academic All-America® honorees being announced in late July.
