DURHAM – Duke baseball head coach Chris Pollard announced adjustments to the schedule and location for the 10th Annual First Pitch Banquet to safely accommodate a record number of attendees.

"It is hard to believe that this February's banquet marks the 10th consecutive year of this important event," Pollard said. "We are thrilled to welcome so many Duke supporters back to campus to celebrate the 2021 ACC Championship and stoke the excitement for the 2022 season. This new format will be a lot of fun."

The event, set for February 5, will take place in two parts. First, attendees will enjoy an awards ceremony to honor the 2021 ACC Championship team and an introduction to the 2022 team in the Blue Devil Tower on Duke's campus. This portion of the program will run from 4-5 p.m.

Following the on-campus event, there will be a reception at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park PNC Triangle Club from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Heavy hors d'oeuvres and drinks will be served at the reception and the Duke versus North Carolina men's basketball game will be aired. The First Pitch Banquet Auction will take place at the reception.

In conjunction with the First Pitch Banquet, the 2022 Duke baseball team will host a three-scrimmage series Feb. 4-6 at Jack Coombs Field. Fans are invited to attend the contests for a first look at the 2022 team. First pitch times for the scrimmages will be announced closer to the event.

4-5 p.m. – Ceremony and Program – Dejoy Family Club at Blue Devil Tower at Brooks Field at Wallace Wade Stadium
5:30-8:30 p.m. – Reception and Auction – PNC Triangle Club at the DBAP

First Pitch Banquet Auction
The auction will take place at the reception at the DBAP. Select items are available for bidding online now – two tickets to the 2022 MLB All-Star Game on July 19 at Dodger Stadium, two tickets to a 2022 MLB World Series Game and two tickets to the Duke vs. North Carolina men's basketball game at Cameron Indoor Stadium on March 5.
