DURHAM — Duke women's basketball signee Ashlon Jackson was one of 24 high school seniors to be tabbed a McDonald's All-American on Tuesday afternoon.
Jackson, a product of China, Texas, has led Hardin-Jefferson High School to another impressive season as the Lady Hawks feature a 24-4 overall and 8-0 league mark. The squad is currently ranked second in Class 4A.
Currently ranked No. 16 in the class of 2022 by espnW, Jackson averaged 22.6 points, 5.8 assists, 4.6 rebounds, 4.9 steals and 1.3 blocks as a junior. She was the 2021 Super Gold and SETCA Player of the Year, is a three-time All-Region and three-time All-State selection.
Jackson is the 33rd Blue Devil to be selected McDonald's All-American.
The McDonald's All-American game will be played March 29 at Wintrust Arena in Chicago, Ill., at 6:30 p.m. (ET) live on ESPN2.
