DURHAM – In a complete performance up and down its lineup, the Duke softball team defeated Elon, 28-1, in a fall exhibition game at Duke Softball Stadium on Thursday night. The Blue Devils launched seven home runs and Jada Baker drove in four runs.

- Duke out-hit Elon, 29-5, in the victory.
- Freshman Aminah Vega belted two of the Blue Devils' seven long balls.
- Baker, Gisele Tapia, Taylor Krapf, Ana Gold and Sarah Goddard had Duke's other homers, with Goddard's being a grand slam.
- Vega and Kristiana Watson each drove in three runs.
- Duke pitchers Jala Wright, Sophie Garner-MacKinnon and Lillie Walker combined to strike out six batters over 10 strong innings.
