DURHAM -- The 2022-23 debut episode of Duke men's basketball's award-winning web series, Duke Blue Planet, is now available. The first episode for this season covers the summer months and gives fans an introduction to new head coach Jon Scheyer as he prepares for his first season.
Other highlights in the season's first episode include going on campus with returning point guard, junior Jeremy Roach, an intro to the seven new freshmen and a feature on the program's graduate transfers who are now in Duke's MMS program at Fuqua -- Max Johns, Ryan Young and Kale Catchings, and a visit from former Blue Devils Jayson Tatum, RJ Barrett, Cam Reddish and Trevor Keels.
The Duke Blue Planet series, which has twice earned the Sports Video Group (SVG) award for best series in college athletics, annually features the Blue Devils with exclusive and authentic content. The show, which puts the players front and center, tells you their stories and gives fans a first-hand look inside the Duke program from the players' perspective.
Edited and produced this season by the team's Creative Content Producer Nick Colosimo, DBP has averaged nearly 2.7 million views annually and totaled well over one million hours of watch time across the Duke men's basketball social accounts. Duke men's basketball boasts the largest combined social following in college athletics.
