DURHAM – Kansas City Chiefs tight endNoah Gray and Los Angeles Rams offensive guardMatt Skura highlighted the eight former Blue Devils that appeared in the 14th week of play in the National Football League.
Gray hauled in three catches for 45 yards on Sunday, as the Chiefs defeated the Denver Broncos, 34-28. Gray was part of an offensive unit that threw for 352 yards and put themselves in position to clinch the AFC West and a playoff berth this weekend with a win against the Houston Texans.
On Thursday night in Inglewood, Calif., Skura and the Rams kept their playoff hopes alive, defeating the Las Vegas Raiders, 17-16. The former Blue Devils offensive lineman helped anchor an offense which compiled the game-winning drive of 98 yards capped by a 23-yard touchdown with 10 second remaining by newly acquired quarterback Baker Mayfield to Van Jefferson.
