Josh Finesilver and
Matt Finesilver have been named to the ACC's All-Academic Team, as the league announced on Thursday.

Josh Finesilver has been named to the team for the fourth time, capping off a prolific athletic and academic career. The Greenwood Village, Colo., native became just the third Blue Devil in program history to qualify for four different NCAA Championships, reaching the round of 16 this season.

Finesilver went 28-8 overall this season, going 14-3 in dual matches and defeating a career-high six ranked opponents. Finesilver was also one of four Blue Devils across all sports to be named a 2022 Weaver-James-Corrigan-Swofford Postgraduate Scholarship Award recipient and will graduate with a degree in evolutionary anthropology.

Matt Finesilver has been tabbed to the list for the third time in his collegiate career, following a highly successful 2021-22 campaign. The Greenwood Village, Colo., native returned to the NCAA Championships for the third time in his collegiate career, also reaching the round of 16. Finesilver finished 29-9 overall with a 14-3 mark in dual match play.

Finesilver is pursuing a Master of Management Studies at the Fuqua School of Business.

Minimum academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are a 3.0 grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one's academic career. Athletic achievements during the most recent season are also considered in selecting the All-ACC Academic Team.

The ACC Honor Roll, which recognizes all conference student-athletes with a grade point average of 3.0 for the current academic year, will be released in July.
