GAME NOTES
- Curd gave the Blue Devils three strong innings with a pair of strikeouts to get credit with the victory.
- Junior Lillie Walker and freshman Sophie Garner-MacKinnon each tossed two innings of relief and each fanned two Tar Heels. Garner-MacKinnnon earned the save.
- Rodriguez had a 3-for-3 day at the plate to pace Duke's offense.
- Junior Kelly Torres homered.
- Senior Kamryn Jackson was on base twice with a double and was hit by a pitch.
- Duke and Carolina have not met in the regular season since the Blue Devils swept a four-game set from the Tar Heels in 2021.
- The Blue Devils are coming off a 44-11 season in 2022 that ended in the program's first berth in the NCAA Super Regional.
