DURHAM – No. 22 Duke men's tennis hosts Boston College and No. 60 Charlotte this weekend at Ambler Tennis Stadium.

The Blue Devils kick off ACC play on Friday when the Eagles come to town for a 3 p.m. contest. Duke will then welcome the 49ers for an out-of-conference matchup on Saturday at 1 p.m. Both contests are scheduled to be played at Ambler Tennis Stadium but will move inside to the Sheffield Indoor Tennis Center if there is inclement weather. During its last outing, Duke dropped a close 4-3 decision at No. 2 Kentucky on Feb. 12. The Blue Devils won the doubles point but weren't able to finish things off in singles play to secure the upset win.

Duke found itself back in the top-25 on Tuesday after the most recent ITA rankings were released. Senior
Garrett Johns shifted to No. 5 in singles play and sits with a 7-3 dual ledger on the year. The senior doubles duo of
Michael Heller and
Andrew Zhang also were listed in the most recent rankings, securing the No. 51 spot after holding a 5-1 dual record on the season.

HISTORY WITH BOSTON COLLEGE
Friday's contest will be the 19th all-time meeting between the two programs with the Blue Devils holding the 18-0 edge on the series. Duke recorded a 7-0 victory during the teams' last meeting on March 18, 2022, in Chestnut Hill.
SCOUTING THE EAGLES
Boston College sits at 5-1 on the year after victories over Southern New Hampshire, Stonehill, Siena, MIT, and Babson. The Eagles lone loss came at the hands of Brown, 4-3, on Feb. 10.

HISTORY WITH NO. 60 CHARLOTTE
The Blue Devils and 49ers have faced off six previous times with Duke leading the all-time series at 6-0. The teams' last meeting came on Feb. 25, 2017, with the Blue Devils posting a 6-1 victory in Durham.
SCOUTING THE 49ERS
Charlotte holds a 4-5 ledger on the year, including a 6-1 loss to No. 62 Old Dominion during its last outing on Thursday. On the season, the 49ers have recorded wins over Texas Tech, The Citadel, Queens, and UNC Asheville. Redshirt sophomore Coy Simon leads the team with a 5-2 dual record on Charlotte's top court.

The Blue Devils travel to Louisville and Notre Dame on March 3 and 5, respectively, for two additional ACC contests. Duke will face off against the Cardinals on Friday at 4 p.m. before meeting up with the Fighting Irish on Sunday at noon.
