DURHAM — Seven members of the Duke women's basketball team have been tabbed to the 2023 All-ACC Academic Women's Basketball Team, the league office announced on Thursday afternoon.

The 2023 ACC Women's Defensive Player of the Year, Taylor was an instrumental part in helping the Blue Devils boast one of the nation's top defenses throughout the season, leading the squad in total steals (72) and steals per game (2.2). On the offensive end, Taylor was the team's leading scorer throughout the season with an average of 11.4 points, pairing that with 4.8 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game.
Brown, a preseason Lisa Leslie Award watch list candidate, started in all 33 games this season for the Blue Devils, averaging 6.5 points and 4.8 rebounds. She posted double figure scoring in 10 games and pulled down at least five rebounds in 16 contests.
Richardson came off the bench during the first seven games of the year before transitioning into the starting lineup. The Charlotte, N.C., native totaled 10-plus points on 10 occasions, including a season high of 14 points in back-to-back games against Notre Dame (Feb. 5) and Boston College (Feb. 9).
Corosdale, de Jesus, Heide and Oliver were all key members of Duke's rotation off the bench that averaged 22.9 points per game.
De Jesus played in 32 contests and averaged 15.5 minutes, 5.0 points, 2.1 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game. She matched a career-high 17 points on 6-of-8 shooting from the floor in the Dec. 4 win at Richmond.
In 28 games played, Corosdale averaged 3.3 points and 3.0 rebounds while leading the team in free throw percentage (minimum 10 attempts). She scored a season high of 14 points in the win over Charleston Southern (Nov. 10), grabbed a season-best seven rebounds versus Pitt (Feb. 2) and rejected a career-high five shots at Virginia Tech (Feb. 16).
Oliver appeared in all 33 contests with seven starts and averaged 17.3 minutes a game. She did an excellent job taking care of the rock, totaling 62 assists to 37 turnovers for an assist-to-turnover ratio of 1.7. Her 1.9 assists per game ranked third on the team. Oliver also reached double figures in three games, scoring 10 points against Davidson (Nov. 12), Boston College (Feb. 9) and Iona (March 18).
Heide was a key post presence off the bench for the Blue Devils and played in every game during the 2022-23 campaign. She scored a season high of eight points on two separate occasions and tallied five-plus rebounds in seven games, including a season-high of eight boards in the ACC Tournament quarterfinal win over North Carolina (March 3).
Academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are a 3.0 grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one's academic career. In addition, student-athletes must compete in at least 50 percent of their team's games.
