QUOTES
- "You talk about Fischer, Healy and Tallon and see how advanced these guys are and it is easy to take them for granted. Andrew Healy was really good tonight. It was three pitches and was really competitive. He didn't have feel for his off-speed early and had to grind his way to find it. By the end of the outing he had really elite pitches." – Head coach Chris Pollard on the success of the freshman this season, including Andrew Healy.
- "I thought it was big. We knew that coming into the game that they could pitch. We knew we were going to see Mayer and Prarie who are arguably their best arms. So we had to scratch out a little bit of breathing room, because we knew it would be hard to string it together offense against those two arms." – On the early offense produced in the first inning.
