Quotes
"I continue to be impressed by our team despite an off-scoring day. They're playing smart golf, adapting to the changing heat and conditions." -- Duke head coach
Dan Brooks
"I just had good ball-striking, hitting fairways, hitting the greens and giving myself good looks for birdie. I just remaining patient throughout the round." -- Duke freshman
Andie Smith
"I mean it's not too bad. It's a great layout, but I think the biggest thing is that there's not a lot of wind right now. So, the course is gettable; you just have to be hitting it well, putting it well and putting yourself in the right spots, especially putting down the valley in some cases is super-fast. Really just giving yourself good opportunities." -- Duke freshman
Andie Smith on how the course is playing
"You know, I think just getting down to business. Just each person focusing on themselves and their game. And really just going out tomorrow with an open mindset that we can do this and we can get within the top eight without a doubt, because that's what we're capable of." -- Duke freshman
