DURHAM – The No. 21 Duke men's soccer team welcomes No. 7 Syracuse, the reigning national champions, to Durham on Friday night, the first regular-season matchup pitting two ranked teams at Koskinen Stadium since the 2021 season. The Blue Devils (5-1-2, 1-2-0) and Orange (4-1-3, 1-0-2) kick off at 7 p.m., and fans can tune in on ACC Network, with Dalen Cuff and Devon Kerr on the call.
Friday is also Pediatric Cancer Awareness Night at Koskinen Stadium, a night of remembrance in honor of Malia Jusczyk, who passed away at the age of 14 in June of 2023 after battling relapsed neuroblastoma. The two teams will wear t-shirts designed by Malia's father, Glen, who was teammates with both Duke head coach
John Kerr (Worcester Wildfire, 1997) and Syracuse head coach Ian McIntyre (Western Mass Pioneers, 2000).
