COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado – Duke women's basketball freshman
Arianna Roberson will don the red, white and blue once again this summer, as USA Basketball unveiled the 3x3 U18 National Team rosters for the 2024 FIBA 3x3 U18 World Cup Tuesday afternoon.
The 3x3 U18 Women's National Team, which also includes Jasmine Davidson, Saniyah Hall and Sarah Strong, will compete at the 2024 FIBA 3x3 U18 World Cup August 26-30 in Debrecen, Hungary. The U.S. women are looking to pick up its sixth consecutive 3x3 U18 title and eighth overall (2023, 2022, 2021, 2019, 2017, 2013, 2012).
No stranger to USA Basketball, Roberson most recently competed at the FIBA U18 Women's AmeriCup in June, helping lead the United States to its 11th straight gold medal and 12th all-time. She provided a strong presence for the United States off the bench, averaging 8.7 points, 5.3 rebounds, 1.2 steals and 1.0 blocks in 12.3 minutes per game. She pulled down seven-plus caroms in three games and reached double figures four times, headlined by a 14 point, seven rebound performance against Mexico during group play.
Additionally, Roberson represented the USA at the 2024 Nike Hoop Summit and participated in the 2023 USA 3x3 Women's U17 National Team trials in Memphis during the 2023 NCAA College Basketball Academy, which also included the U.S. Open Championships.
The women commence Pool D competition on Tuesday, Aug. 27 vs. Egypt (6:30 a.m.) and Latvia (8:45 a.m.). Pool play wraps up Thursday, Aug. 29 vs. New Zealand at 6:55 a.m. ET and Poland at 8:45 a.m. ET. Following pool play, the top two teams from each of the four five-team pools will move on to the quarterfinals. The 2024 FIBA 3x3 U18 World Cup will stream live on the
