TEMPE, Ariz. – Duke men's tennis got in its final swings before the start of dual match play at Arizona State last week, competing against individuals from the host Sun Devils, Oklahoma and Texas A&M.Â

Connor Krug was named the week's singles champion after posting a 3-0 record across three days of matches. He opened play with a 7-6 (2), 7-5 victory versus Oklahoma's Bruno Nhavene. Krug then took a pair of three-set decisions against Texas A&M foes, coming back to down Togan Tokac 2-6, 6-1, 6-4 and Giulio Perego 1-6, 6-1, 6-4.Â
