DURHAM, N.C. – Following four rounds of the LPGA Q-Series Qualifying Stage, former Duke women's golf All-American Emma McMyler placed tied for 39th to move on to the Final Qualifying Stage of LPGA Q-Series in Mobile, Alabama Dec. 4-8.
McMyler, a 2024 Duke Fuqua School of Business graduate, carded rounds of 74, 70, 70 and 71 for a 3-under, 285. Following an opening round of 2-over, 74, McMyler turned in three consecutive under-par scores to continue to move up the leaderboard each day.
A field of 194 golfers took the Panther and Bobcat Courses at the Plantation Golf and Country Club in Venice, Florida this past week and following 72 holes of play only the top 45 and ties officially became eligible to move on to the final qualifying stage.
Kokona Sakurai and Mirabel Ting finished the week with a 14-under, 274, to share individual medalist honors.
