WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Duke ended the Wake Forest Invite on Sunday and closed the tournament with a doubles flight championship, a singles flight runner-up and a singles flight semifinals appearance.

The Blue Devils earned the A1 doubles bracket title as the duo of Alexander Visser and Teddy Truwit captured all three matches. The No. 2 seed in the bracket, Visser and Truwit topped South Carolina's Charlie Swaine and Gabe Avram, 6-4, in the title match.

Visser also had a solid run in singles with a trip to the A1 bracket championship. He earned straight-set victories in the round of 16 and quarterfinals before taking down North Carolina A&T's Jindrinch Brill 6-2, 2-6, 6-1 to move to the finals where South Carolina's Sean Daryabeigi came away with a 6-4, 7-5 victory.

Duke's other doubles team of Dylan Long and Saahith Jayaraman dropped its first match in the A2 bracket, but bounced back with two victories in consolation matches.

Long made a singles semifinal appearance in the A2 bracket after upsetting No. 3 seed Stiles Brockett of Virginia 6-4, 6-4 in the opening round. Long then came from behind to defeat Elon's Rafael Ymer 2-6, 6-3, 6-3 to reach the semifinals. No. 2 seed Paul Barbier Gazeu of South Carolina earned a 6-3, 6-4 victory versus Long.

Also in the A2 bracket, Truwit made a trip to the quarterfinals with a 4-6, 7-6 (8-6) 7-5 comeback win against Brett Gloria of Charlotte in the opening round. Rounding out the Blue Devils' singles performances was Jayaraman, who fell to Daryabeigi in the opening round of the A1 bracket, but responded with two singles victories in consolation play.

Duke returns to action Thursday through Sunday at the ITA Sectional Championship in Chapel Hill, N.C.
