DURHAM, N.C. – The Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) announced the 57 student-athletes selected to the 2024 Pocock Division I All-America teams with junior
Lena Mills earning recognition for the second time in her career.
Mills was one of 11 student-athletes that earned honorable mention accolades. Duke has now netted a total of 23 All-America selections since 2001, including at least one selection in seven of the last eight seasons.
The Lymington, England native was a consistent member of Duke's Varsity Eight lineup for the second straight season, seeing action in all five regattas. She was part of the V8 lineup that placed second in their final race at the Lake Wheeler Invitational to help the Blue Devils finish second overall in the team standings. Mills also guided the V8 to a fifth-place finish in its grand final race at the 2025 ACC Championships in Clemson, S.C.
She earned All-ACC accolades for her efforts after helping the team to a fifth-place finish at the ACC Championships on Lake Hartwell. The junior collected all-conference honors for the second time in her career after picking up a third team nod.
The CRCA All-America awards recognize the most outstanding collegiate rowers and coxswains across all NCAA divisions and the lightweight category. These athletes have demonstrated elite athletic performance, leadership, consistency, and dedication throughout the season, earning distinction among the top rowers in the nation. This prestigious recognition honors athletes who have contributed significantly to their teams while meeting high standards in competition and training.
