2021: Made 17 appearances, including four starts, while finishing with a 4-0 record … allowed 17 runs in 25 innings of work (6.12 ERA) … struck out 34 to just six walks … led the team in strikeout to walk ratio with a 5.67 … second on the team in WHIP with a 1.12 …  earned the win in each of the four games he started, the team’s longest winning streak by a starter … assisted the Duke pitching staff to break the program record in strikeouts per nine innings (9.81) ... part of a Duke pitching staff that boasted a 1.00 ERA with 41 strikeouts to just five walks in the ACC Baseball Championship on its way to winning the first tournament title in program history … helped the Blue Devils to win 12 straight heading into NCAA postseason play, the longest winning streak by a Duke team since 1998 … put together an impressive showing in the start against Florida State at the ACC Championship (5/26) … allowed just one run on three hits in 3.1 innings of work while striking out a career-high six … made four consecutive no-hit appearances from Boston College (2/28) – Pittsburgh (3/7) … earned his first career win against NC Central (4/6) with four strikeouts in two innings … made a scoreless appearance out of the bullpen at Louisville (5/8), striking out two in 1.2 innings of work.
2020: Did not see action in the 2020 season that was cut short by the COVID-19 pandemic.Â
Prior to Duke: The second-best right-handed pitcher in the state of Massachusetts according to Perfect Game USA … a four-year letterwinner at St. Sebastian’s in Wellesley, Mass. … enjoyed an impressive junior campaign on the mound, sporting a 7-0 record, which came across seven appearances on his way to earning both Independent School League (ISL) Most Valuable Player and Most Valuable Pitcher honors … closed out the 2018 campaign with a 0.58 ERA over 48.1 innings of work, while collecting 63 strikeouts in his efforts … was regarded as a top 500 prospect by Perfect Game, and earned Underclass All-American Third Team honors in 2018 … a two-sport athlete who also competed in football, lettering all four years of his prep career as a quarterback … a scholar athlete who was a member of the National Honor Society and received academic honors with distinction every semester of his time at St. Sebastian’s.
