Lexy Granata joined the Duke football staff in March 2023, and currently serves as the director of internal operations.

Prior to her time in Durham, Granata spent one season (2022) as the director of football operations at Eastern Michigan University. In that role, she coordinated all travel logistics for the program, served as the primary liaison between the program and university, worked alongside the recruiting department to plan recruiting events and visits, and organized camps, banquets, and other team events.

Before transitioning to EMU, Granata was a football operations assistant with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League. While with the Buccaneers, she assisted the team with daily operations initiatives and events, including training camp logistics.

A native of Lapeer, Mich., Granata graduated from Saint Mary’s College in Notre Dame, Ind., in 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. While working toward her degree, Granata spent time working in multiple roles with the football program at the University of Notre Dame. She first began her stint with the Fighting Irish as a student equipment manager (2019-20), before transitioning to a student operations manager for the 2021 campaign.
