PRIOR TO DUKE: Prepped at St. Mark’s School of Texas under head coach Harry Flaherty … as a senior, threw for 2,314 yards and 24 TDs ... rushed for 593 yards with 11 TDs … following final campaign, earned the program's MVP award, the Tony Briggs Spirit Award and All-Southwest Preparatory Conference honors ... added three additional letters as a member of the basketball team.
