Director, Duke Women’s Sports Medicine Program; Assistant Professor of Surgery (Orthopaedics). Assistant team doctor for the NFL’s New York Giants and the Iona College Gaels during the 2000-2001 season. Toth, a New Fairfield, Conn., native, graduated from Yale in 1990, where she played varsity basketball. Toth was the 1994 Valedictorian of her medical school class at Duke in 1984. She completed her orthopaedic surgery residency at Duke University Medical Center in 2000, and her Sports Medicine and Shoulder Surgery fellowship at the Hospital for Special Surgery at the Weill Cornell Medical Center in New York City in 2001. She is in her second year as Team Physician for Duke Women’s Athletics. The Duke Women’s Sports Medicine Program is one of the first programs in the country dedicated to the care of active women.
