Holly Dorfman joined the Duke volleyball staff in August 2020 and serves as the director of volleyball operations.
Dorfman comes to Durham after obtaining a Masters in Sport Administration from Belmont University in May of 2020 after graduating from Transylvania University in May of 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts in Exercise Science.
While at Belmont, Dorfman served as a volleyball graduate assistant for over one year. She assisted with drills in practices, monitoring student-athletes academics, kept weekly academic reports, created and organized team events on and off campus for community service, personal development and health and wellness and created scouting reports each week for upcoming matches.
Dorfman also has experience working in the athletic department at Yale where she was a student-athlete services and compliance intern and was a marketing intern at Vanderbilt.
Dorfman has been around Duke volleyball for years and has been an assistant at Duke's volleyball camp for nine summers.
Additionally, Dorfman served as a branding intern for Duke basketball and the athletic department in 2016.
She also brings a wealth of knowledge to the college athletics setting as she was a varsity athlete on the volleyball team at Transylvania.
