Amber Onyebinachi joined the Duke Athletics staff in August of 2022 and serves as an Academic Coordinator for football.
Onyebinachi graduated from Marshall University with a degree in Physical Education and Health in 2014. She went on to obtain her master’s degree in Educational Leadership at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in May of 2022.
In early 2021, Onyebinachi served as an academic peer coach at UNC Charlotte and then in late 2021, served as an academic mentor at NC State. She also served as the Healthful Living Team at McDougle Middle School from 2014 up until her hiring at Duke, where she instructed over 300 students in physical education and health while also serving as the head coach of the school's track and field team.
