Antoine Brown joined Duke Athletics in January 2024 as an Assistant Director of Game Operations, Championships & Events. His role involves overseeing game day operations for men's golf, swimming & diving, special campus events, varsity sports camps and other outside events. He also serves as a secondary event manager for fencing and assists with basketball and football game day operations.
Before his current position at Duke, Brown played a key role in game day operations at American University as the Athletics Operations Manager. He was the primary event manager for men's basketball, women's soccer, men's soccer, wrestling and swimming & diving. He provided oversight for internal and external events as well as managing a roster of 70 student workers and game day staff. Brown also gained valuable experience at Frostburg State University, serving as an Athletic Facilities & Events Manager, where he was responsible for managing game day operations for 22 sports.
Brown's career began at Florida International University, where he started as an intern and then progressed to Game Operations Coordinator. His responsibilities covered a wide range of sports, involving coordination with coaches, directors and officials, as well as supervising interns and staff. In addition, he has experience working as a Box Office Representative for the Miami Heat and in the Events & Entertainment Game Day Staff for the Miami Dolphins.
Beginning his journey in sports as a student-athlete, Brown was a starter on the men's basketball team at New York Institute of Technology. He went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from New York Institute of Technology and a Master of Science in Sports Administration from St. Thomas University (Miami).
