Cole Archer joined the Duke Athletic Medicine staff in July 2023 as the primary athletic trainer for Blue Devil volleyball and men’s tennis programs.
Originally from Kirksville, Mo., Archer earned a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from the University of Missouri in 2021. During his time there, he served as a student athletic trainer for the Tiger football, baseball, and softball teams.
Prior to joining Duke, he worked as a Graduate Assistant at Columbia College (Mo.) for a year, focusing on the Cougar baseball and cross country teams. He later advanced to a full-time Assistant Athletic Trainer role, supporting the baseball, men’s soccer, and men’s track & field teams. In 2023, he earned his Master of Arts in Teaching from Columbia College (Mo.).
