Kersten Schuber joined Duke Athletics in 2022 and serves as the Assistant Athletic Trainer for Duke cross country and track and field.Â

Prior to her arrival in Durham, Schuber served as Assistant Athletic Trainer at Oklahoma State starting in 2019, working with the cross country and track and field teams. She was an athletic trainer intern at the University of Florida in 2018-19, again working with the cross country and track and field teams. She worked with the 2019 Men's Indoor Track national championship team while a member of the Gators athletic department, and served as the medical director for the 2020 Cross Country National Championship when it was hosted at Oklahoma State.
Schuber received her Master of Adult and Higher Education with a concentration in Intercollegiate Athletic Administration from the University of Oklahoma in 2018, and served as a graduate assistant athletic trainer for the Sooners from 2016-18. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Catawba College, graduating in 2016.Â

Schuber currently resides in Durham with her husband Dan and their cat Granger.
