Meeghan Ford joined Duke Athletics in January 2019 and serves as the Assistant Director of Athletics/Compliance. She served as the Executive Director of Compliance prior to her promotion in July 2021.
In her role, Ford is responsible for the monitoring, education and enforcement efforts within the compliance department.
Prior to her arrival in Durham, Ford served as the Assistant AD for Compliance at NC State University from August 2012 through December 2018, and was the Assistant Director of Compliance at American University from June of 2010 to August of 2012. She previously worked as a graduate compliance intern at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill and worked in event management at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.
A native of Wolfeboro, N.H., Ford was a four-year varsity letter winner in lacrosse at Duke University and earned her bachelor's degree in 2007. She went on to receive her master's degree in Sport Administration from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill in 2010.
