- Four brand new Continental Tires for your car
- $400 in cash!
The Details:
Continental Tire has acquired the exclusive sponsorship rights to the all-sports competition between the Blue Devils and Tar Heels and their 23 common varsity teams.
Known for 10 years as the Carlyle Cup, the rivalry series will have a new co-branded title, Presented by Continental Tire. And you can come up with the new name and win 4 tickets to the UNC-Duke football game on November 27 in Durham, four brand new Continental Tires for your car and $400 in cash.
Several suggestions have already been submitted, such as "Battle of the Blues" Presented by Continental Tire. Both schools want to solicit other possible titles from their alumni and fans. So email your candidate to DukeCarolina@ISPSports.com.
All entries will be considered and the winning title will be selected on Monday, November 22. The winner will be notified and invited to the football game, where he or she will take part in the on-field unveiling of the new name of the Duke-Carolina Rivalry Series and receive a certificate for four new Continental Tires and a check for $400.
The format will remain the same as with the Carlyle Cup, 26 points at stake among the 23 common varsity sports at both schools. The winning school will continue to keep the sterling silver and enamel urn for the following academic year, displaying the light blue or royal blue side and corresponding school logo.
