Lin Wins Again at ITA All-American Championships

TULSA, Okla. – Freshman Vincent Lin continued his strong performance at the Saint Francis ITA All-American Championships on Sunday with another victory in prequalifying. Overall, the Blue Devils turned in a 3-1 record Sunday.
Lin earned a 6-2, 6-2 victory against Grey Hamilton of Ole Miss to move to the Round of 64. Lin then faced Michael Riechmann of Texas in the Round of 64 and fell in a hard-fought three sets, 5-7, 7-6 (4), 6-3.
In the consolation bracket, junior TJ Pura earned a 6-4, 6-4 victory against Bayo Phillips of Drake while freshman Adrian Chamdani won his consolation match, 6-1, 6-1, versus Harry Busby of Arizona.
Duke is back in action October 8 with the beginning of the main draw at the ITA All-American as sophomore Nicolas Alvarez will represent the Blue Devils.
