Duke Athletics Rebrands Social Media Platforms

DURHAM, N.C. –Duke Athletics and the university's sports programs have unveiled new and improved official social media handles with the aim of increasing consistency across their Facebook, Twitter and Instagram platforms.
Similar to the modification made by the men's basketball program in mid-October, the social usernames of the remaining programs now echo that same cleaner, more user-friendly appearance with the elimination of the underscore. Additionally, for the first time, identical handles will be used for all three platforms.
Users who liked or followed these accounts prior to the change will be automatically switched over to the new accounts for Duke Athletics and the respective sports.
