DURHAM, N.C. – The Duke women's tennis team will continue its fall campaign Nov. 1-3 at the 16th-annual Kitty Harrison Invitational at the Cone-Kenfield Tennis Center in Chapel Hill, N.C.
This year's eight-team field features five Atlantic Coast Conference squads - Duke, North Carolina, NC State, Notre Dame and Virginia - as well as three other outstanding programs - Oregon, Tulane and William & Mary.
The tournament is held in honor of Kitty Harrison, head coach of the North Carolina women's tennis team from 1976 to 1998.
All seven Blue Devils are set to take the courts in both singles and doubles competition:
Chloe Beck,
Margaryta Bilokin, No. 5
Kelly Chen, No. 18
Meible Chi,
Summer Dvorak,
Ema Lazic and
Hannah Zhao.
Doubles action will begin Friday at 9 a.m., with Dvorak/Zhao and Bilokin/Lazic up against Virginia and Tulane before singles kick off at 3 p.m., against Notre Dame.
On Saturday, Beck/Chen and Chi/Zhao will take on Oregon in doubles at 9 a.m., before singles at 12:30 p.m., versus NC State.
Duke will close out the Kitty Harrison Invitational Sunday at 11 a.m., in singles.
