WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The Duke men's tennis team wrapped up fall play this weekend at the Wake Forest Invitational in Winston-Salem, N.C.

Freshman Andrew Zhang highlighted the week in Winston-Salem, finishing as a finalist in the A1 Singles draw. In the final on Sunday, Zhang came up short against Wake Forest's Siddhart Banthia, 6-4, 6-3.

Senior Samir Agadi notched his first career singles win as a Blue Devil on Sunday, defeating Taye Dupree of Wake Forest in a three-set match, 6-3, 6-7 (4), 6-1, in the southeast match of the F singles division. After withdrawing from a match during Saturday's due to a sore shoulder, the Alpharetta, Ga., native came back strong to snatch his first career win.

In the A2 singles division, freshman Omni Kumar advanced to the consolation final after dropping his opening match. In the consolation final, Kumar came up short against Eduardo Nava of Wake Forest, 4-6, 6-2, 6-4.

Zhang and senior Spencer Furman paired up in the A3 doubles division. After dropping their first match, the Duke duo won back to back contests to advance to the consolation final. In the final, they fell to a pair from Stetson, 7-5.

Next up for Duke is hosting a UTR event Nov. 22-24.
