HOW TO FOLLOW
DUKE AT THE HEAD OF THE HOOCH
- The Duke rowing program has competed at the Head of the Hooch 11 times since 2005.
- Duke's last appearance at the regatta came in November 2018, when the Blue Devils were represented by three novice boats.
- The novice 4+ A boat provided the highlight of the day for Duke with a first-place finish. That lineup included current seniors Sarah Royka, Stella Haley, Meera Chakrabarti and Kelsey Lackey.
- The regatta is a head race – competitors row a 5,000-meter (3.1 miles) course on the Tennessee River ending at Ross's Landing Park.
DUKE DEBUTS
- Sixteen Blue Devils are set to make their collegiate rowing debut this weekend -- freshmen Jane Atkeson, Noelle Fuchs, Grace Hayward, Olivia Hayward, Audrey Kline, Lauren Pehlivanian, Kaitlyn Roegner, Hannah Steven, sophomores Arianna Dwomoh, Rosa Golchin, Natalie Katz, Emily Nagamoto, Anika Pawlak, juniors Lilly Ma, Anna McKane and senior Anne Crabill.
