HIGH POINT, N.C. – Duke rowing kicked off the fall slate on Sunday at the High Point Rowing Festival, hosted by Triad United Rowing Association, on Oak Hollow Lake in High Point, N.C.
The Blue Devils went head-to-head with crews from Edinburgh University, University of Oxford and High Point to compete for the Lenny Peters Cup.
HOW IT HAPPENED
In their first race of the morning, the Blue Devils battled Oxford and claimed all three spots on the podium with first, second, third and fifth place finishes.
Duke's Varsity Eight A boat posted the winning-time of 15:505 while the B and C boats followed with times of 16:042 and 16:223, respectively. The Blue Devils' D boat clocked a time of 17:081 to round out the morning racing.
