DURHAM, N.C. – Duke heads back on the road Friday when it travels to Virginia for a 6 p.m. ACC Network showdown with the Cavaliers in Memorial Gym.
Â
Fans will be able to watch the dual as it will be broadcast byÂ
ACC Network. Live stats will also be available via TrackWrestling.
Â
Redshirt junior and team captain
Josh Finesilver heads into Friday's dual in search of his 45th career win and 16th career dual victory. Both of those marks lead the Blue Devils.
Â
During its last outing against No. 6 Virginia Tech, Duke dropped a 42-3 decision inside Card Gymnasium. FreshmanÂ
Conor Becker earned his first career win though after he took down Sam Fisher in the 174-pound matchup.
Â
Fellow classmateÂ
Logan Agin also had a good showing for the Blue Devils despite dropping his contest at 125-pounds. The Lancaster, Ohio, native lost a gut-wrenching 3-2 decision after Virginia Tech's Joey Prata earned an escape point as the final buzzer sounded.
Drake Doolittle followed that up with another solid performance for Duke at 133 pounds. He and Brandon Wittenberg battled back-and-forth for the opening two periods before Wittenberg held on for the 5-3 decision win.
