Jack Christian joins the Blue Devils as a backstroke and freestyle specialist from Audubon, Pa. Christian graduated from Episcopal Academy and also swam at Upper Main Line YMCA on the club scene.

"I chose Duke because it's the perfect intersection of academics, athletics, and social life," Christian said. "The team's strong bond along with amazing professors led me to making this decision."
Tabbed the 11th-ranked recruit out of Pennsylvania, Christian was a Summer Junior Nationals and US Open qualifier. He was also an 'A' finalist at the Eastern Interscholastic Swim Championship on five occasions. During his junior season, Christian earned NISCA All-America honors in both the 200 freestyle and 100 backstroke. Christian was also a two-time USA Swimming Scholastic All-American.

Jack Galli Christian was born on August 1, 2002, in Philadelphia, Pa. He is the son of Sue and Greg Christian. He has two brothers (Matthew and Michael). His dad, Greg, was a member of the swimming & diving program at Fairfield University.
