QUOTE
"Today was a great step for both women's and men's programs. Our men's team finished 19th in a very competitive field, and they executed the race plan exactly how I wanted.
Chris Theodore and
Owen MacKenzie both had a great day leading the team and we packed up extremely well. I couldn't be more proud of this group and we are building great momentum as we head into championships season.
Our women are young and continue to grow each week. We had a very strong effort from Amina and Dalia leading our women's team and all of the women in our top five finished right around where I thought they could. We will go back to the drawing board with a couple of individuals and see what went wrong as we look toward ACC's. I do believe this was a great learning opportunity for this team. As we build for the future, we need to learn how to race in a field as competitive at Nuttycombe and it will pay off down the road." – head coach
Angela Reckart.
