PORTLAND, Ore. – Behind a season-high 18 points from senior
Celeste Taylor, the Duke women's basketball team bounced back from Friday's setback and posted a 54-41 win over Oregon State Sunday night in the third-place game of the Phil Knight Legacy.

Mia Heide also had strong games for the Blue Devils (6-1) as the trio combined for 23 points and 18 rebounds. Balogun and Brown tied for a team-high eight boards while Taylor led the team with four assists.
Raegan Beers led the way for Oregon State (4-2) with 11 points.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Following a tight start to the first quarter that featured four lead changes, the Blue Devils closed the opening stanza on a 10-2 run to hold a 16-11 lead after 10 minutes of play.
- The Beavers clawed back to level the score, 19-19, via an 8-0 run of their own early in the second.
- The tie didn't last long, however, as Duke scored 12 of the quarter's next 17 points to take a 31-24 lead into the half.
- Oregon State tallied 11 points in the third quarter, but Duke produced 10 points of its own to keep the Beavers at bay – six of those coming from Taylor.
- Duke scored 13 of the 19 points in the fourth quarter to put the game away and lock down the 13-point victory.
