DURHAM – No. 14 Duke softball (25-5, 8-2 ACC) returns home for three games in the ACC this weekend, hosting Boston College from Apr. 1-3 at Duke Softball Stadium.
Friday's game will start at 6 p.m., with games on Saturday at 2 p.m., and Sunday at 12 p.m. All three games against the Eagles (14-14, 2-7 ACC) will be streamed on ACC Network Extra.

After returning home to North Carolina, the Blue Devils responded with a doubleheader sweep of East Carolina on Wednesday in Greenville, N.C. Sophomore
Jala Wright opened the day with 5.1 no-hit innings against the Pirates, finishing with the win in a 6-3 decision.
Claire Davidson and
Lillie Walker combined to limit the Pirates to one run in a 9-1 win over ECU in five innings in game two.
Jameson Kavel and
Kristina Foreman each tallied home runs in the opener, while Davidson drove in three at the plate in game two.

Duke vs. Boston College – Duke Leads, 3-0
The Blue Devils and Eagles are meeting for just the second series and the first since 2018. While the Eagles are the only ACC team that has yet to beat the Blue Devils, the previous series was tight throughout, with Duke holding a slim 11-8 scoring advantage.
Peyton St. George was brilliant in the previous series, allowing no runs over three appearances, while
Rachel Crabtree hit .500 with two RBI to help the offense earn the first ACC sweep in program history.
Scouting The Opponent
Boston College: At 14-14, the Eagles are looking to generate some positive momentum, following a sweep at the hands of Virginia last weekend. The team is led in the circle by Peyton Schnackenberg, who made headlines when she pitched a complete game shutout over No. 2 Florida State on her way to ACC Pitcher of the Week honors. Schnackenberg is 6-2 with a 2.70 ERA this season. On offense, Hannah Slike is hitting .358 with 12 RBI and 10 doubles, while Darlen McDonough leads the team with four home runs and 15 RBI this season.
What to Watch For
- Caroline Jacobsen is closing in on 100 career RBIs, standing just two away at 98.
- Kavel has been one of the top doubles' hitters in the nation with 11 on the year to rank first in the ACC and 14th nationally. She is closing in on the program's single season record of 15, set by Raine Wilson in 2018.
- Kavel is also on a 14-game on-base streak, the longest streak for her this season and second-longest by a Blue Devil this season, behind Jacobsen's 21 to open the year.
- St. George ranks ninth in the nation in wins with 13 and needs just seven more to set a new single season program record.
- Duke is swinging for the fences early this season, ranking ninth in the nation in home runs per game at 1.70. Foreman and Kavel lead the team with nine on the season.
- With 51 home runs on the season, the Blue Devils have already blown past their single season record of 47 from last season.
- The Blue Devils continue to lead the ACC in slugging percentage (.605), on-base percentage (.419) and scoring (6.93 runs per game), while ranking in the top-10 nationally in home runs per game and slugging.
