DURHAM – The 12th-ranked Blue Devil rowing team will head to the Sunshine State to compete in the Big Ten Invitational in Sarasota, Fla., on Friday at Nathan Benderson Park.
The Blue Devils' will race five crews in the Varsity Eight, Second Varsity Eight, Third Varsity Eight, Varsity Four and Second Varsity Four in 15 races throughout the two-day event. The 2V8 is set to open the morning session at 8:30 a.m., on Friday.
In the field along with Duke are Alabama, Brown, UCLA, UCF, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota, Ohio State, Rutgers, SMU, Stanford, Tennessee and Wisconsin.
Fifteen of the 16 teams in this year's field are either ranked in or have received votes in the latest Pocock CRCA Top-20 poll.
