CHARLOTTE – Tickets are on sale now for the 2024 Atlantic Coast Conference Wrestling Championship, set for Sunday, March 10, at Carmichael Arena on the campus of the University of North Carolina.

Ticket pricing and seating:
- Tickets are priced at $10 and can be purchased online at theacc.com/tickets
- All seating for the championship is General Admission.
- Children 2 years of age or younger are free.
- Students from ACC institutions get in free with a school ID.
- Group sales (10 or more) are priced at $8 (must contact the UNC Athletic Ticket Office directly).

The ACC Wrestling Championship will begin with first-round action at 11 a.m. The first 500 fans in attendance at the Championship will receive a three-point takedown foam finger.

The semifinals are set for 1 p.m., followed by the consolation semifinals at 3:30 p.m. and the consolation finals at 5 p.m.

ACC Wrestling:
- The ACC currently boasts three teams among the nation's top 20, with five-time defending league champion NC State ranked No. 8, Virginia Tech at No. 12, and Pitt at No. 19 in the latest NWCA Division I Coaches Poll.
- A total of 36 ACC wrestlers were ranked in the NCAA's first coaches' ranking for the 2024 NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships this week.
- NC State's Trent Hidlay was ranked No. 1 at 197 pounds, while Virginia Tech's Caleb Henson came in at No. 2 at 149 pounds.
- Overall, the ACC had 12 grapplers ranked in the top 10 in their respective weight classes by the NCAA coaches.
- A season-high 37 grapplers were ranked in the latest InterMat NCAA Division I Individual Rankings, with 11 ACC wrestlers nationally ranked among the top 10 of their respective weight classes.
- Looking to win its sixth-straight team championship title is NC State, which is once again led by last year's Most Outstanding Wrestler and Individual Champion at 133 pounds Kai Orine.
- Other defending champions returning this season are multiple-time champions Cole Matthews of Pitt (141), Mekhi Lewis of Virginia Tech (174), and Trent Hidlay of NC State (184), as well as first-time champions in 2023 in Caleb Henson of Virginia Tech (149), Justin McCoy of Virginia (165), and Owen Trephan of NC State (285).
- Last season, 35 wrestlers from the ACC competed at the 2023 NCAA Wrestling Championships in Tulsa, Oklahoma, with North Carolina's Austin O'Connor (157) and Pitt's Nino Bonaccorsi (197) each winning NCAA national titles. A total of 12 ACC wrestlers earned 2023 All-America status last year, matching the league's 2021 total for the most ever via direct competition.
- Conference dual action opens Friday night, highlighted by a 7 p.m. matchup between the No. 8 Wolfpack and No. 19 Panthers in Pittsburgh. ACC Network will carry the match live as the first installment of this season's "Friday Night Duals," with veteran wrestling announcers Shawn Kenney and Rock Harrison on the call.
