CLEMSON, S.C. – The Duke rowing team capped its season with a seventh place overall finish at the ACC Championship on Saturday morning on Lake Hartwell. The Blue Devils raced in two Grand Finals, the V8 and 2V8, and claimed sixth in both.
Duke senior Claire Vannelli, a member of the V8, was named to the All-ACC second team. Vannelli, a 5-11 captain from London, Ontario, Canada, was a four-year member of Duke's V8. Earlier this spring, she was selected as a 2015 ACC Weaver-James-Corrigan Award postgraduate scholarship winner.
