DURHAM, N.C. - Duke Athletics currently ranks 20th in the latest Learfield Directors' Cup Standings, released Thursday by the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics.
Duke has secured 351.00 total points and is among seven ACC schools ranked in the top 30, joining N.C. State (6th), Virginia Tech (7th), North Carolina (14th), Virginia (17th), Louisville (21st) and Florida State (26th). Stanford leads the overall rankings with 784.50 points.
To date, Duke has earned points in football (45), men's soccer (64), field hockey (70), women's soccer (83), women's indoor track and field (16.50), wrestling (51.50) and women's swimming and diving (21).
The Learfield Directors' Cup was developed as a joint effort between the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and USA Today. Points are awarded based on each institution's finish in NCAA Championships.
