DURHAM, N.C. – Duke (8-11, 1-5 ACC) will return to action for two ACC road matches this weekend at Clemson (7-10, 1-5 ACC) and Georgia Tech (10-7, 3-3 ACC). The Blue Devils will take on the Tigers Friday, Oct. 18 for a 7 p.m., matchup on ACCNX before traveling to Atlanta for a 2:30 p.m., Sunday contest on RSN at Georgia Tech.
Duke fell to both its opponents last weekend in No. 25 Louisville 3-0 (21-25, 17-25, 14-25) and Notre Dame 3-1 (24-26, 25-22, 25-27, 18-25) in Cameron Indoor Stadium.

Payton Schwantz paced the offense and defense with 15 kills and 15 digs while sophomore
Ade Owokoniran added 11 kills. Defensively, libero

Clemson snapped a five-match skid to open ACC play with a win (18-25, 25-21, 25-18, 25-10) at Virginia Tech last week (Oct. 11).
In her seventh start at libero this season, Madi Howell tallied a career-high 25 digs, surpassing her previous best of 19 digs, which she had achieved in three prior matches. In addition to Howell, freshman middle blocker Ani Clark registered a signature performance against the Hokies last week. Clark achieved career-bests in kills (11), total attacks (21), attack percentage (.286; minimum five kills) and block solos (four). Freshman setter Mckenna Slavik currently ranks fifth in the ACC in assists per set (9.82), which is also good for 14th in the nation among all freshman.
Georgia Tech is coming off an ACC weekend sweep by downing Clemson (3-0) and Virginia Tech (3-0).
The Yellow Jackets are hitting .265 percent this season and are led by Julia Bergmann with 226 kills (3.70 kills/set) followed by Mikaila Dowd with 184 (3.07). Kodie Comby leads the team with a .468 hitting percentage with 138 kills and just 30 errors. Setter Matti McKissock has dished a whopping 683 assists while Maddie Tippett has 205 digs so far this season.
The Yellow Jackets are second in the ACC in hitting percentage, kills and assists behind Pitt.
