DURHAM, N.C. – The No. 11 Duke women's lacrosse team will dip outside of conference play to welcome High Point Thursday, March 11 for a 5 p.m., first draw on ACC Network. Quint Kessenich and Sheehan Stanwick Burch will be on the call.
LAST TIME OUT
The No. 10 Duke women's lacrosse team fell to No. 2 Syracuse, 15-5, Saturday afternoon in Koskinen Stadium.
Duke was led by senior Katie Cronin with two goals and an assist for three points and also received goals from Maddie Jenner, Ainsley Thurston and Olivia Carner.
Katie Cosgrove picked up a team-leading three ground balls for Duke while Catriona Barry and Cubby Biscardi each had three draw controls. Defender Natalie Kahn caused three turnovers.
SCOUTING THE PANTHERS
The Blue Devils will face the Panthers for just the fourth time in program history and own a 2-1 lead in the series. In their last meeting, the No. 20 Panthers came away with a 16-12 victory in High Point, N.C.
The Panthers are 1-5 this spring but have lost two of their last three games by just one goal each. Most recently, High Point fell on the road to Vanderbilt (17-13) and fell in overtime to Davidson (15-14). The Panthers also lost by just one goal to No. 11 James Madison (10-9) February 26.
High Point is led by Abby Hormes with 18 goals and four assists for 22 points followed by Ashley Britton with 19 points. The Panthers split between three players at the draw with Megan Nerney (28) Britton (27) and Hormes (23).

The Blue Devils are ranked No. 11 both the latest IWLCA and Inside Lacrosse polls this spring.
All ACC women's lacrosse teams are featured on the IWLCA poll with three in the top 5.
PUT YOURSELF IN THE STANDS WITH A FAN CUTOUT
Blue Devil fans can support Duke women's lacrosse with cutouts of yourself, family members or favorite pets. Cutouts will be displayed for the entirety of the season regardless of the future determination for allowing spectators into the venue.
All cutouts are $75 each and you will receive an individual photo of your cutout in the stadium and for an additional $25, head coach Kerstin Kimel will sign the cutout for you. Proceeds from sales will go directly to Duke Athletics to support our student-athletes during these unprecedented times.

Due to the impact of COVID-19, Duke University will begin its spring sport program seasons without spectators at home events. Contests played on Duke's campus will include essential game management personnel and broadcast media. Traditional parking lots used by fans on game day will be closed.

Duke will be off from competition for eight days before heading to Charlottesville, Va., as the Blue Devils will take on No. 8 Virginia for two contests.
