DURHAM, N.C. – Head coach 
Kerstin Kimel and the Duke women's lacrosse program are excited to announce six graduate returners for the upcoming 2021-22 season.
Catriona Barry,
 Katie Cosgrove, 
Katie Cronin, 
Chase Henriquez, 
Natalie Kahn and
 Abby Landry and will use their final year of eligibility granted by the NCAA due to COVID-19.
Each completed their undergraduate career in May and all are enrolled in Duke's Fuqua School of Business.
"Our coaching staff and team are proud and absolutely thrilled to have these six Blue Devils return for the 2021-22 campaign," Kimel said. "Cat, Katie, Katie, Chase, Abby and Nat have been impact players and leaders in our program since they were freshmen. They are the very best example of what our Duke student-athletes embody on and off the field. We are excited to have this group leading the charge as we take on the challenges of the 2021-22 season in pursuit an ACC and National Championship."
A midfielder from Napa, Calif., Barry has helped spearhead Duke's midfield and attack throughout her four years. She recorded double-digit scoring in each year of her career in 64 contests and owns 150 draw controls and 70 ground balls. Barry became the 30th Blue Devil in program history to reach the 100-point plateau with 71 goals and 29 assists. Most recently as a senior, Barry was tabbed to the IWLCA All-South Region Team as a second team honoree. A four-time ACC Academic Honor Roll honoree, she graduated with a degree in public policy and an economics minor.
Cosgrove has helped anchor Duke's defense the last four years in the 52 games she's played in. The Churchville, N.Y., product has picked up 41 ground balls, 39 draw controls and caused 34 turnovers over her career. She graduated with a degree in public policy and a history minor.
Attacker Cronin was having her best season as a Blue Devil in 2021 before suffering from a season-ending injury and is anxious to return to the field. Cronin saw action in 59 games over her career for Duke's offense. She owns 76 goals to her name to go along with 15 assists for 91 points. In 2021, Cronin reeled in 30 goals to tie for first on the squad. The Darien, Conn., native has collected 24 draw controls, 23 ground balls and caused 26 turnovers. She has been on the ACC Academic Honor Roll three times and graduated with a public policy major and political science minor.
Goalkeeper Henriquez has seen action in 32 contests for Duke, amassing nearly 800 minutes between the pipes. The Norwell, Mass., native totaled 115 saves over her career, including 34 ground balls. She accumulated a career-high 13 saves in 2020 against Virginia and owns a 9.86 career GAA. She was named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll four times and graduated with a double major in history and English.
Kahn has been a steady presence for Duke's defense in the 62 games she's played in. The product from Malvern, Pa., collected 40 ground balls and 34 caused turnovers. She registered two games with three ground balls, including Duke's dominating victory over Mount St. Mary's in 2021 first round NCAA Tournament action. A three-time ACC Academic Honor Roll honoree, Kahn graduated with a history major and environmental studies minor.
Midfielder Landry has seen great success during her time as a Blue Devil as she has played in 64 contests. The Hingham, Mass., native has 65 goals and nine assists for 74 points while also picking up 51 ground balls, 12 draw controls and caused 23 turnovers on the defensive end. In 2021, Landry knocked in two goals on four different occasions. A four-time ACC Academic Honor Roll honoree, she graduated with a degree in public policy.
