KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – The Duke softball team continued its fall exhibition schedule with a pair of games in Knoxville, Tenn. this past weekend, battling Tennessee to a 14-14 tie and beating Carson-Newman 16-4 at Sherri Parker Lee Stadium.
NOTES
- Duke totaled 30 runs in the two-game set in Knoxville.
- In the 16-4 win over CNU, Kristana Watson, Jada Baker and Kairi Rodriguez each hit home runs.
- Sophie Garner-MacKinnon pitched three combined shutout innings against CNU.
- Francesca Frelick hit a home run in the Tennessee game, and an Aminah Vega smacked a two-run double.
