Weekend Details
- Duke hosts Stanford (Sept. 19, 5 p.m.) and California (Sept. 21, 1 p.m.) with both matches being streamed on ACCNX. Admission is free.
- The Blue Devils welcome the One Love Foundation to the game versus the Cardinal. Duke dedicates the game to the foundation founded in memory of Yeardly Love, a UVA Lacrosse player tragically killed as a result of domestic violence. Duke Athletics is heavily involved with the One Love Foundation. Their mission is simple: promote healthy relationships and love on campus.
- Duke also will recognize its field hockey alumni in attendance at the game with a special recognition to the 2015 NCAA Semifinal team.
- Sunday's contest will be a Throwback Game featuring music over the decades starting with "Do You Remember the 21st night of September?" At halftime, there will be a name that tune game for fans with prizes for those who correctly guess the song played.

Opening Push Back
- Duke opens ACC play this weekend, hosting West Coast opponents Stanford and California. First hit against the Cardinal is Sept. 19 at 5 p.m., while the Blue Devils and Bears square off Sept. 21 at 1 p.m.
- Duke heads into the weekend ranked seventh in the NFHCA top 20 poll. The Blue Devils have four more games against current top 20 foes, including three against top-four teams.
- The Blue Devils hit the road for the next two weekends before returning home for one game Oct. 10. Duke will travel a total of 1,657 miles over the two road trips to Syracuse/VCU and Virginia/James Madison.
- Duke is coming off a commanding 9-0 win at William & Mary Friday. The Blue Devils scored six goals in the second quarter and held the Tribe to just one shot and zero penalty corners. Stanford is 3-3 and coming off a 1-1 weekend, beating Ohio University (2-1) and losing by one to No. 7 Michigan (2-3). California is 3-2 overall after cruising past Ohio 9-0 Sunday.

After Five Games
- Duke is 3-2 overall with both losses coming against current top 10 teams – No. 1 Northwestern (0-1) and No. 9 Liberty (3-4). The Blue Devils own wins over current No. 4 Maryland, American and William & Mary. The Blue Devils have found success on penalty corners this season with seven of the 16 goals on the year coming from set pieces.
- Julia Boehringer is having a breakout season offensively, leading the Blue Devils with four goals and two assists for 10 points. She is highly effective on penalty corners, getting three points from the set pieces at William & Mary Friday. Senior captain Macy Szukics anchors the backline in her first season as a center back for the Blue Devils.

Series History
- Duke and Stanford meet for the ninth time and for the second time as ACC foes. The Blue Devils are 7-1 against the Cardinal, including last year's 3-0 win in Palo Alto. It is the seventh matchup between the two programs under head coach Pam Bustin with Stanford earning its lone victory in 2015 (3-2 OT).
- The Blue Devils and Bears tangle for the 10th time and for the second as members of the ACC. Duke defeated California last season in Berkeley, 4-0. It is the first time Cal has visited Durham since 2014 – a 2-0 win for the Blue Devils.
Offensive Depth
- Duke has proven it has a wealth of scoring options with eight different players landing on the scoresheet. Returning leading scorer Alaina McVeigh only has three of the 16 goals (19 percent) with Julia Boehringer, Maggie Kondrath and Ashley Stockdale also providing multiple goals. Through five games last season, McVeigh had five of Duke's 11 tallies (45 percent).
- The Blue Devils have scored seven goals from penalty corner situations. Duke's nine goals at William & Mary were the most by the Blue Devils since scoring nine against Longwood in 2023.
