2010: Missed the 2010 season due to injury ... named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll.
2009: Saw action in three games as a rookie … picked up a ground ball.
Prior to Duke: Four-year letterwinner at Kent Place ... missed senior season with injury, but provided leadership to county championship team … collected 40 ground balls, won 37 draw controls and chipped in 28 goals and nine assists as a sophomore, leading team to the second round of the state playoffs … team also reached second round her junior year ... played club lacrosse with Metro from 7th-12th grade … lettered two years in field hockey ... finished in second place at national Spanish exam in 2003 and was honorable mention in 2004 and 2005.
Personal: Rebecca Krom … daughter of Fred and Kathleen Krom … has one brother (Fred) and four sisters (Kourtney Matter, Francesca McBride, Rachel Krom and Catherine Krom) … sister Catherine is a Duke alumnae and former member of the women’s lacrosse team ... brother Fred (‘07) is also a Duke alumni and was a four-year letterwinner on the men’s lacrosse team ... majoring in Political Science with a minor in Spanish and certificate in Markets and Management Studies.
